How to Rock Your Summer Library Program for Early Literacy and Children

How to Rock Your Summer Library Program for Early Literacy and Children In-Person

Come hear about our favorite Libraries Rock! ideas to help you plan and promote your summer library program! We’ll help you discover the hidden gems inside the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) manual and discuss programming ideas that are easy and affordable (we’ll try something too!). You’ll have the opportunity to share what you’re excited about this summer. Whether this is your first or fortieth time running a summer program for children, you are sure to walk away with new ideas and inspiration for planning, promotion and programming!

Join us for one or both sessions depending on your summer library program's target audience. If attending both workshops, please bring a bag lunch or you can explore the local cuisine. Make sure to register separately for the morning and afternoon sessions.

This workshop supports the MLS Strategic Plan goal of co-creator culture and addresses the themes of core services, social justice, and a strong Massachusetts library community.
