DESCRIPTION:The Massachusetts Library System is pleased to announce that we 
 have contracted with ALA to provide our members with access to their live 
 webinars.  These webinars are free to MLS members who register through our 
 calendar.  Please do not register directly with ALA. Members who register 
 directly with ALA are responsible for paying their registration fee.

 \n\n\nDescription\n\nThis event includes attendee participation on mic and 
 camera.\n\nThis is the third session in the Crash Course: Inclusive and 
 Accessible Library Experiences for People with Disabilities series\, which 
 is available for registration as a bundle.\n\n\n\nLearning Outcomes\n\nIn 
 this session\, the instructor will cover:\n\n\n	Examples of programs\, 
 collections\, spaces\, and services that include and support people with 
 disabilities in libraries.\n	Community assessment tools and co-creation 
 methodologies (OF/BY/FOR ALL and Harwood Institute).\n	Definitions of 
 compliance\, accessibility\, and universal design as well as examples of 
 space assessments.\n\n\nThe session will include breakout discussion and 
 reflections about existing library services and spaces and possibilities 
 for growth and improvement.\n\n\n\nPresenter\n\nLibrarian\, author\, 
 trainer\, administrator\, teacher\, and consultant Renee Grassi is an 
 advocate for equity\, diversity\, inclusion\, and accessibility in 
 libraries\, schools\, and communities. As a neurodivergent librarian 
 herself\, Renee has worked in public libraries for nearly twenty years\, 
 developing award-winning library initiatives that welcome and support
