WMLA Advocacy Hour: Summer Reading As Advocacy In-Person
From the Western MA Library Advocates: Join us at the Erving Public Library to hear about different approaches to running a summer reading program and how summer reading contributes to advocating for your library at the local level. Speakers from Athol, Erving, Northfield, and the Massachusetts Library System will talk about their experiences with this significant annual program, how the outcomes of summer reading lead to advocacy opportunities, what resources are being used to run this program, and resources that are available from the MLS. There will be time for questions, open discussion, and a tour of the Erving Public Library. Light refreshments provided by the Friends of the Erving Public Library.
