Treasures in the Attic: The Care and Feeding of Local History Collections

All too often someone is assigned responsibility for a library’s local history collection without knowing where to start. This workshop, taught by a certified archivist and preservation administrator who has written on library and archival collections security requirements, will cover the basics of working with both book and non-book materials and their special needs, including preservation and security.

Please feel free to join us at the conclusion of the workshop for a tour of the hosting institution’s facility.
