DESCRIPTION:The Massachusetts Library System is pleased to announce that we 
 have contracted with ALA to provide our members with access to their live 
 webinars.  These webinars are free to MLS members who register through our 
 calendar.  Please do not register directly with ALA. Members who register 
 directly with ALA are responsible for paying their registration fee.

 \n\n\nDescription\n\nJoin in a discussion on personality-driven business 
 models!\n\nPanelists will briefly review individual area of interest and 
 provide case-studies\, examples\, or other elements from their experiences 
 providing research consultations/lessons on vice-related topics. Followed 
 by a brief Q&A and then attendees will join breakout sessions to dive 
 deeper into their particular area of interest. \n\nTopics for each 
 presenter will include:\n\n\n	Trademarks\, with examples of personality 
 driven businesses: influencers\, celebrities\, and others who have built 
 trademarks into their business models\n	Privacy\, law\, and the business of 
 self: The actual law surrounding these business models\n	Business models of 
 tabletop gamers: Companies like Critical Role and Dropout\, as well as 
 self-employed Dungeon Masters who make a living out of playing role-playing 
 games\n	Name-Image-Likeness: Athletes\, influencers\, and celebrities who's 
 name\, image\, and likeness are themselves a commodity that is traded on\, 
 bought and sold\n\n\n\n\nLearning Outcomes\n\nBy the end of this webinar 
 the participant will be able to:\n\n\n	Define important business models 
 relevant in personality-driven business\, including game-playing and NIL\, 
 amongst others\n	Articulate the purpose of trademarks and discuss types of 
 trademarks that might be relevant to particular circumstances\n	Deploy 
 resources and methods for keeping current on privacy law issues involving 
 important technologies such as artificial intelligence and social
