Wayfinding & Signage: Principles and Planning

Wayfinding & Signage: Principles and Planning Online

Wayfinding and Signage (W/S) are essential to a patron's library experience. In this workshop, you'll learn the differences between W/S, discover best practices, and gain practical tips to enhance these elements in your library. By the end of the workshop, participants will have a solid understanding and actionable steps to improve W/S, making their libraries more user-friendly and navigable.

As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:

1. Differentiate wayfinding from signage.
2. Describe three levels of wayfinding.
3. Identify two considerations for wayfinding and signage specific to their library’s needs.
