Leading with Confidence: Best Practices for New and Emerging Library Managers, Leaders, and Supervisors (LibraryWorks Webinar)

Leading with Confidence: Best Practices for New and Emerging Library Managers, Leaders, and Supervisors (LibraryWorks Webinar) Online

The Massachusetts Library System is pleased to announce that we are working with LibraryWorks to provide our members with access to their webinars.  These webinars are free to Massachusetts library workers who register through our calendar.

New to library leadership? Thrown into it without any leadership or supervisory training? It is not uncommon to be thrust into a leadership role with little to no training, but you now have to make decisions that affect your entire library and staff. How do you build self-confidence to lead yourself and others in the right direction? Equip yourself with tools to learn decision-making skills and determine your leadership style. Learn the value of leading by example and make your library thrive.

From this webinar, you will:
•    Learn and identify your leadership style
•    Develop leadership techniques leading to better decision-making
•    Acquire tangible steps to building confidence and develop vision casting
