Ready or Not, Here It Comes! Inclusive Summer Library Programs In-Person
Summer Reading: the beloved albatross of youth services. If we're not careful, it turns into a grind. This webinar will look at ways to make Summer Reading more inclusive, see what the latest research says, and see what other library systems are doing. Get inspired with fresh ideas, so you're ready to kick into planning mode.
Suzanne Myers Harold is the Children's Librarian at Astoria (OR) Public Library, on the coast. Prior to moving to the hometown of the Goonies, she worked for ten years with Multnomah County Library in Portland, Oregon, as the Summer Reading Coordinator, a youth librarian, and the Adult Literacy Coordinator.
