Community Chat: Teaching in Libraries Online
Calling all library workers who teach in libraries! This community chat is for library workers from all library types to connect, share, and learn from one another in an informal setting devoted to all things library instruction. On the second Tuesday of each month, from 3 - 4 pm on Zoom, we'll explore and discuss an instruction topic together:
- August 8: Generative Artificial Intelligence and library instruction
- September 12: The ACRL Framework, DESE Curriculum, and Backwards Design
- October 10: Active learning idea share
- November 14: Assessing library instruction
- December 12: Reporting out: Techniques for telling your library instruction story
Want to facilitate a discussion, briefly present your library instruction project, or suggest a discussion topic? Please contact MLS Consultant Jane Stimpson at jane@masslibsystem.org. Don't miss out on connecting with this vibrant community of library professionals. Mark your calendars and join the conversation! Registration is not required, though you are welcome to register through LibCal to receive an automatic reminder 24 hours prior to the start of the event.
