Reluctant Leadership: Embracing Authenticity and Intrinsic Qualities for Enhanced Leadership (LibraryWorks Webinar) Online

The Massachusetts Library System is pleased to announce that we have partnered with LibraryWorks to provide our members with access to their webinars.  These webinars are free to Massachusetts library workers who register through our calendar.

Leaders are often thought to crave power and attention. But you work best out of the limelight. You may have been thrust into leadership or placed in a position that you didn't anticipate or frankly, never wanted. Discover why being a reluctant leader is often the best leader. Learn how to focus on the qualities that make you the best person for the job.

From this webinar, you will learn:
•    How to move through your reluctance and see your strengths
•    How to capitalize on your skills and translate it to leadership
•    Identify and accept what others see in you that put you in this position
•    Overcome the invisible pressures of being a leader
•    Tips on overcoming your fears
