Description
Discover how to map your community's strengths and resources to discover people’s talents, build relationships, and guide conversations that shape a community-led library. We'll explore Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) tools that your library can use for community engagement and strategic planning.
Learning Outcomes
As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify the gifts and skills of individuals in their community.
- Create an asset map.
- Prepare to host a listening conversation to discover motivation and invite participation.
How will I be participating?
During this live virtual workshop, expect frequent, active participation for maximum impact!
Collaborate with peers through the use of breakout rooms and other digital tools. Microphones and cameras are essential for full participation. Please note, sessions will not be recorded.

This workshop will be held virtually via Zoom.
