The WMLA Annual Meeting & Idea Share Breakfast is offered in person and on Zoom.  Please register for the format you wish to use for participation.  Zoom registration is a separate calendar entry.

The Western Massachusetts Library Advocates (WMLA) Annual Meeting and Idea Share Breakfast will be held at the Erving Public Library, 2 Care Street, Erving MA 01344.  The Business Meeting will begin at 9 as will the buffet breakfast.  Usual meeting elements will occur including the election of Officers and new Board Members as well as remarks from Maureen Amyot, new Director of the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, Sarah Sogigian, Massachusetts Library System Executive Director, Jeanette Lundgren, C/W MARS Executive Director, and Courtney Andre, Executive Director, Massachusetts Center for the Book.  There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.

The Idea Share program will follow at 10.  The Idea Share is composed of small group discussions on important topics for libraries with special emphasis on western Mass libraries if pertinent.  During the morning, participants will be able to participate in 4 sessions moderated by WMLA Board members.  Highlights from the discussions will be offered as a conclusion. 

The registration deadline for in person participation is October 16, 2024.
