WMLA Advocacy Coffee Hour and Library Tour

WMLA Advocacy Coffee Hour and Library Tour In-Person

Community and Advocacy are partners in building coalitions of groups and individuals for the benefit of institutions and organizations.  This year, WMLA (the Western Massachusetts Library Advocates) is organizing a series of geographically located library gatherings to promote both.  The first in our series is centered on local advocacy and is hosted by the Porter Memorial Library in Blandford.  Director Nicole Daviau will begin the discussion with tips and techniques she and her trustees have used to build support for their construction program.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions and issues on construction or any other topic for a free ranging discussion.  Registration for the meeting is necessary; preference will be given to WMLA members, but all are welcome.

Please join us and meet colleagues and other advocates for libraries in western Massachusetts.  Bring a lunch or get one across the street and, after the meeting, enjoy a meal with new colleagues on the patio.

The Porter Memorial Library in Blandford is located at 87 Main Street, Blandford MA 01008. Phone: 413-848-2853.
