WMLA Advocacy Coffee Hour: Acronym Advocacy with WMLA

WMLA Advocacy Coffee Hour: Acronym Advocacy with WMLA In-Person

MBLC, CWMARS, MLS, LFC at BPL, MLA... Do you understand the alphabet soup of library acronyms in our state? Join the Western MA Library Advocates for a low-stress morning to learn about Massachusetts' library acronyms: who they are, how they impact our local libraries, and what the letters stand for (literally and figuratively). The more you know, the better you can advocate. Light refreshments, good company, and valuable information served.

Community and Advocacy are partners in building coalitions of groups and individuals for the benefit of institutions and organizations.  This year, WMLA (the Western Massachusetts Library Advocates) is organizing a series of geographically located library gatherings to promote both.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their questions and issues on acronyms or any other topic for a free ranging discussion.  Registration for the meeting is necessary; preference will be given to WMLA members, but all are welcome.

Please join us and meet colleagues and other advocates for libraries in western Massachusetts.
