Join us to learn all about educational gardens and sustainable library landscaping at this season's Blue Marble Librarians' Idea Share. Eastham Library's Corey Farrenkopf will speak about several gardening projects he has facilitated for both town and non-profit libraries, including rain gardens, native edible gardens, pollinator gardens, and library arboretum walks. He will talk about working with gardening professionals and library boards to make the most out of your experience, as well as outline programming options that have been successful and easy to run.

The Blue Marble Librarians Idea Share is a quarterly virtual meetup for librarians dedicated to climate preparedness, environmental sustainability, and community resilience. Each session features a presentation from a local community partner or innovative library, highlights relevant grant opportunities, and provides space to exchange creative ideas and programs that support a more sustainable future.
