Financial Literacy Training for Libraries
Join Carmen Cruz of the Office of Financial Education, Division of Consumer Education & Engagement at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and a group of distinguished panelists from a variety of agencies for an introduction to the CFPB’s partnership with libraries in their Community Financial Education Project. Through panels and presentations, this training prepares library staff to assist patrons looking for information about planning for retirement, financial planning, using consumer credit, and avoiding fraud and scams.
