Marketing Fundamentals – Putting All the Puzzle Pieces Together
Let’s build on what we’ve learned in from Jennifer Burke's spring 2018 webinar series. This hands-on workshop takes prior learning of marketing basics, sound strategy, SMART goals, strategic storytelling, and ties all the pieces together into marketing actions your library can use and adapt. This half-day workshop will reinforce fundamental marketing principles and actionable marketing plans through exercises and group work. Are your goals specific and measurable? Is the draft of your marketing plan something that inspires action or is a vague vision? What stories will your library concentrate on this year? Be prepared to critique sample marketing plans, to review, and rebuild the plans offered by you and your peers. [Participants who have attended 1 or more of the Jennifer Burke webinar series offered 2018 should bring notes and work from past sessions, plus any existing marketing plans or goals for sharing with workshop leader and peers.] The webinar series is available under password protection.
