Statewide Services for Public Library Patrons In-Person

Are you a public librarian, curious about additional resources available to your library patrons in Massachusetts?

Please join us to learn more about the public services offered through the University of Massachusetts, Amherst libraries. Topics will include: Learning Commons, the Digital Media Lab, Seed Library, Patents & Trademarks, Special Collections & Archives

The Boston Public Library will provide an overview of resources offered through the Library for the Commonwealth program, which includes e-content, reference assistance, databases, foreign language book deposits, and more.

Get practical information and flyers to take home and hand directly to your patrons!

Agenda:

  • 9:30-10:00 a.m. Meet & greet
  • 10-10:45 a.m. Library for the Commonwealth services
  • 10:45-11:30 a.m. UMass Amherst library services for the public
  • 11:45-12:30 Optional tour – UMass Amherst Libraries

Light refreshments will be served.
