Transforming Teen Services - Getting Started with Connected Learning
Connected Learning happens when a peer or adult can connect a teen's interests and skills to real world opportunities. Schools and libraries can easily nurture these interests through programming and resources, and are well-positioned to connect teens to future career possibilities through community relationships. In fact, most libraries are already doing this--they just don't realize it! Join us as we discuss what connected learning is, how it supports educational equity, and explore how you can utilize connected learning with intention at your library or school.
This webinar is an introduction to the in-person Transforming Teen Services (T3) workshops that will be presented around the state when MLS and MBLC events resume. It is part of an IMLS-funded grant program administered by YALSA and COSLA.
