Career Resource Deep Dive: Peterson’s Career Prep and MassHire Career Information System In-Person
In this hands-on virtual workshop, you will have a chance to learn and practice key features of two comprehensive career planning resources: Gale Presents: Peterson’s Career Prep, which is newly available via our statewide database program, and the MassHire Career Information System, which is freely available to all Massachusetts residents from the MassHire Department of Career Services. Workshop attendees will have an opportunity to:
1. Create an account in each of these two resources and access account features including career assessments
2. Help a fictional patron navigate career and job search information
3. Use resume creator tools to prepare, download, and store a resume
4. Identify and access features unique to each resource
