Staff from the Kirstein Business Library & Innovation Center (KBLIC), a division of the Boston Public library, offer an overview of Kirstein resources and highlight our upcoming virtual events. Learn about KBLIC services available to entrepreneurs, job-seekers, investors, nonprofits, inventors, and media creators. Our suite of best-in-class electronic and educational tools provide countless opportunities to develop new career skills, embark on business ownership, and discover creative design technologies.

Speakers:

Gregor Smart, Curator
As Curator, Gregor assumes responsibility for the programs, administration, and management of the Kirstein Business Library & Innovation Center. Prior to joining the Boston Public Library in 2012,  Gregor had worked in corporate libraries in the fields of financial services, law and accounting.

 

Amber De Angelis, Adult Technology Coordinator
Amber is a Business and Technology Librarian at the Boston Public Library who focuses on connecting entrepreneurs, hobbyists, and jobseekers with the skills, software, and resources to achieve their goals.

 

 

Mary Devine, Workforce Development Librarian

Mary focuses on helping job seekers through the job search process by teaching or facilitating career skills workshops, reviewing resumes & cover letters and increasing their knowledge of skill building resources available at the BPL. She wants everyone who she meets to come away with more knowledge and skills to be a great potential employee.

 

 

Elizabeth Cousins, Research Services Librarian
