[Leadership Development Training Series] Leadership Bootcamp In-Person

Looking to jump start your leadership skills?  Then you won’t want to miss this six-session cohort-based program that is designed to help you grow into the library leader you want to become.  The objectives of this six-session program are:

  • To re-frame leadership for the needs of our fast and ever-changing library work environments.
  • For you to learn practical and immediately useful skills around change resilience, communication, problem solving, creativity, and teamwork.

At the start of the program we create a common language around being present, listening, supporting each other, finding offers in every situation and “yes, and-ing,” which forms the foundation for all of the work of the cohort.

There is pre-work for each session to begin the knowledge acquisition so that in-person time can be spent on dialog and practice.  And there are real world assignments to put the learning into action following each session.  Participants will be expected to complete all pre-work and assignments and come to each session prepared to participate with microphone and video camera.
