[Leadership Development Training Series] Shape Positive Outcomes: Assess and Strengthen Trust In-Person

Trust is foundational in relationships, groups, and organizations. While there are many behaviors people claim can either build or erode trust, it can be difficult to determine which truly do and how best to apply them. The Trust Behaviors Framework cuts through this confusion, by centering research-based patterns of behaviors proven to support organizational effectiveness and trusting relationships.

In this workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of the Trust Behaviors Framework, the behaviors within each of its five categories (purpose, roles, core processes, communication, and interpersonal dynamics), and how the order of the categories influences subsequent ones - the importance of which often goes unnoticed by people trying to positively impact trust levels. They will learn to use the framework as a diagnostic instrument through a self-assessment that can be applied at the individual, group, and organizational level. Finally, they will take the self-assessment themselves and use it to inform an action plan so each person leaving will have immediate and focused attention on trust areas to strengthen.

After this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the five sets of behaviors within the Trust Behaviors Framework that can strengthen their team and interpersonal relationships
  • Begin using the Trust Behaviors Framework to diagnose issues with or use as a guide to strengthen trust
  • Use a self-assessment to reflect and select areas of improvement to inform a personal action plan

Will this Workshop be Recorded? No.

Intended Audience: This workshop is appropriate for library staff at any level or position.
