Readers' Advisory Roundtable - West, Genre Study Paranormal Romance In-Person
Join the Reader’s Advisory Round Table of Western MA genre study for a discussion of Paranormal Romance to expand our understanding of fantasy genres. We will explore this genre blend, meet new titles, and discuss how to use them to meet the reading needs of our users. We are meeting via jitsi to talk about the appeal of these romances, the readers who may enjoy them, and ways to incorporate them into our readers’ advisory services. Our benchmark title for this session is Burn for Me by Ilona Andrews. We all read the benchmark, then a second title in the genre as our personal selection. Our discussion includes our reactions and thoughts on the benchmark title, our individual selections, and their shared characteristics.
