Our mid holiday season Reader’s Advisory Round Table of Western MA genre study will be a book chat.  We meet bimonthly to explore various reading genres and how to use them to meet the reading needs of our users.  This year we are meeting via jitsi to talk about the appeal of a particular genre, the readers who may enjoy that genre, and ways to incorporate them into our readers' advisory services.  For our genre studies, we select a benchmark title that we all read, then a seond of the genre as our personal selection, then discuss them and their characteristics.

For December's Book Chat, we will share our favorite holiday stories, films, shows AND our best reads during 2021!  Make note of the titles (again books, films, shows, media) that you have particularly enjoyed this year to share with the group.  We schedule two hours for the discussion, but frequently use less.  Please join us for as much time as you can for conversation, edification, and an opportunity to share reading/viewing/listening opportunities.  For questions or suggestions, contact Jan Resnick (njrezz@comcast.net) or Alene Moroni (amoroni@forbeslibrary.org).
