Project Management Salad Bar In-Person

Each of us has been involved in a library project at some point. Maybe it was weeding a collection, offering a program, training a new staffer, or constructing a building. Sometimes those projects don't go as planned. You've seen it: deadlines got missed, or staffing needs took away resources, or maybe the project just fizzled and got forgotten. The professional field of Project Management, with its standards of practice, and professional testing and certification, makes a science of addressing the many potential project pitfalls. Fortunately, you can reap the benefits of Project Management without needing a professional Project Manager. Many easy-to-adopt project management tools can be used all by themselves, to great benefit.

So welcome to the Project Management Salad Bar. Likely, the last salad bar you'll ever visit. This Salad Bar will guide you through the variety of problem-solving tools that Project Management has to offer. In years gone by, we would pick and choose ingredients from the salad bar based on cravings, dietary needs, or even present company (it's just easier if Auntie doesn't know we're eating meat right now).  At the Project Management Salad Bar we'll pick and choose tools based on project goals, resources, and work styles of team players. So grab a clean plate and step on up to the Project Management Salad Bar for a buffet of options to keep your projects on target, on time, and en tout (all together).
