Join us for our Reader’s Advisory Round Table of Western MA genre study of celebrity memoirs.  Our benchmark is Finding Me by Viola Davis.  As our genre study, we all read the benchmark and then a second title of our choice.  We discuss and compare the titles and their characteristics and appeal.  We also find items of alternate media in the same genre using our whole collection as a resource.

We meet monthly to explore various genres and how to use them to meet the reading needs of our users.  Currently we meet via jitsi to talk about the appeal of a particular genre, the readers who may enjoy that genre, and ways to incorporate materials in that genre into our readers’ advisory services.

In months without a specific genre study, we share what we are reading/viewing/listening to in our book chat discussions.   Join us for conversation, edification, and an opportunity to share reading/viewing/listening opportunities.
