Change management is more than just a buzzword in libraries these days. For many library leaders, it has become a way of life requiring not only the ability to create change, but the ability to sustain a culture of innovation and change long-term. 

Join us for this workshop to learn practical information about the day-to-day decision-making and concrete activities required to achieve and sustain organizational change through the eyes of one leader who applied them in her library. Together we will navigate a model for change by viewing clips from Cinthya Ippoliti’s webinar “Are We There Yet? How to Keep Organizational Momentum Going After the Excitement of Change Is Over” interspersed with hands-on practice.

By the end of this program, you will be able to:

• Develop a vision for a change project (large or small) you wish to implement in your library.
• Identify common barriers to sustaining change, along with strategies to overcome them.

Featured speaker: Cinthya Ippoliti is the associate dean for research and learning services at Oklahoma State University, where she provides administrative leadership for the library’s academic liaison program as well as services for graduate and undergraduate students.
