Participants will learn important terms, helpful tools, and ways to adjust the reference interview. By the end, they will understand readers' advisory basics, boosting staff confidence and improving patron service.

Learning Outcomes

As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:
1.    Identify the key terms of readers’ advisory.
2.    Use reader's advisory concepts to describe a popular work.

How will I be participating?

During this in-person workshop, expect frequent, active participation for maximum impact! Collaborate with peers through the use of breakout groups and hands-on activities.
